The fine print, plainly.

Who we are. Cheeyell Firm, C-75, Upper Ground Floor, Vikaspuri, New Delhi 110018, India ("Cheeyell", "we") operates cheeyell.com and its subdomains.

What we collect. Account details (name, email, sign-in provider), content you choose to create (manuscripts, Memoir Vault entries, submissions), form enquiries, and basic usage analytics. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Cheeyell Cubs is designed for parents and guardians to use with children.

How we use it. To provide your account across all Cheeyell sites (single sign-on), respond to enquiries, deliver purchases and improve our services. We never sell personal data.

Where it's stored. Securely with our infrastructure providers (including Supabase), encrypted in transit and at rest. Memoir Vault content is private to you and the family members you invite.

Your rights. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may access, correct, export or delete your data. Write to cheeyellfirm@gmail.com.

Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in across *.cheeyell.com, and privacy-friendly analytics. Third-party partners such as Amazon may set their own cookies when you follow their links.

By creating a Cheeyell account or using any Cheeyell site you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older to hold an account, or have a parent or guardian's consent.

Your content. You own what you create: manuscripts, art, music, memoirs. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host and display it as you direct.

Acceptable use. No unlawful, hateful, infringing or harmful content, no attempts to break security, and no impersonation.

Third-party platforms. Some services run on partner platforms (for example travel bookings at world.cheeyell.com and courses at teefati.cheeyell.com) and are also governed by those partners' terms.

Liability. Services are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at New Delhi having jurisdiction.

Memberships. Cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans can be refunded pro rata within 14 days of purchase.

Courses. Full refund within 7 days of enrolment if less than 20% of the course has been accessed.

Couture & print on demand. Made-to-order items can be returned for size exchange within 7 days of delivery. Defective items are replaced or refunded in full.

Media & commissions. Deposits are refundable until work begins. After that, refunds are pro rata to work completed.

Travel. Supplier cancellation policies apply and are shown before payment.

Cheeyell is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and Amazon Associates India, affiliate advertising programmes that let sites earn fees by linking to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Cheeyell earns from qualifying purchases. Affiliate links are always labelled, and brands cannot pay for placement in our editorial picks.

We respect intellectual property. If you believe content on any Cheeyell site infringes your copyright, email cheeyellfirm@gmail.com with: the work, the infringing URL, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and your signature. We respond within 5 business days and remove infringing material promptly. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.
